Bear Cave in Kletno

The Bear Cave in Kletno is one of the obligatory places to visit while discovering the massif of Śnieżnik Kłodzki. This cave is situated on the fight slope of the Valley of Kleśnica, in a block of marbles, within the Stroma Mountain. The fact that this place is visited by many tourists each year is caused not only by this interesting localisation but most of all because of the magic charm. The corridors of the cave are situated horizontally, at three levels and are connected with chimneys. The lowest and mid parts are the best developed ones and offer many interesting views.

The total length of the corridors in the Bear Cave is over 2, 5 km, so that is quite long trip, and difference between the highest and lowest point is 60 m. This is the biggest cave and one of the Sudetes Mountains and one of the deepest caves in Poland, with which can compete only caves within the Tatras. The middle part of corridors is opened for tourists; it can be admired while wandering through Touristic Route. The unavailable parts of the cave can be admired at photos and films taken by the speleological expeditions.

The Bear Cave in Kletno is a place with unique charm and microclimate that shall be visited by each and every enthusiastic tourist.
